This is an excellent video. Even if you have studied perspective before, Carl Dalio shows a few tricks that are excellent to review, and he gives new insights that are enlightening.

• Chapter1: Introduction--Information about Carl Dalio...but no perspective information is given in this part.

• Chapter 2: Perspective--(about 10.5min) This chapter defines the horizon line & vanishing points. We watch the artist draw a rather complex house in 2 point perspective. We learn how to find the center point of the roof. Watching the artist and listening to his commentary is very useful.

• Chapter 3: Three-Point Perspective--(about 7min) This chapter has some good practical tips. If you take a reference picture and it has some 3 point perspective going on--that you do not want to emphasize--the artist points out the issue and lets us know how to correct it.

• Chapter 4: Challenges of One-Point--(about 6.5min) Artist demonstrates 2 point perspective and tells us why it is generally a more interesting approach than using 1 point perspective.

• Chapter 5: Repeated Shapes--(about 9.5min) Here we are shown how to create similar objects that move in a linear pattern back in space. Building on what we learned, we are then shown how to put that principle to even more practical use as the artist demonstrates how to place windows exactly where we want them on a house.

• Chapter 6: Cloud Spacing--(about 7min) Showing extreme depth in a landscape by paying attention to the size/perspective of the clouds. This is a practical demonstration of how to apply the perspective principles learned in chapter 5.

• Chapter 7 People in Perspective--(about 14min) Here we see a very logical approach to figuring out the relative size of several people in a composition. The artist demonstrates how to do this from an eye-level perspective, then he does it from an aerial perspective. The aerial perspective tips are very insightful and a bit more advanced.

• Chapters 8 & 9 -- These chapters were not particularly helpful in terms of learning "Perspective." If you are teaching sketching and composition...they may apply.
