Abstract
The film shows 40 buildings of the Austrian-American architect Rudolph Schindler (1887-1953) from the years 1921 to 1953. Architecture projects space into this world. Cinematography translates that space into pictures projected in time. Cinema then is used in a completely new way: as a space in which to meditate on buildings.
